Julia is on a distinguished road
Week two: Light becomes data

Week two was talking about:
1. Recognising the basic components of a digital camera and their functions
2. How the camera captures light and translates this into digital information and why it is so difficult to photograph bluebells accurately.
3. How cameras and computers store digital information ie file formats and storage devices
4. What makes a good image, zooming, sensivity and peripheral vision
5. Using Photoshop Elements to resize, resave and crop an image

We had to take photos of purple things to see how accurate our cameras were. This is my attempt.

All still quite basic at the moment and ok to understand. Week three to follow shortly.
