For gigs, it varies between a Lowepro messenger bag, which I only use when I'm travelling very light, say the 5d plus the 50mm. Slightly bigger local gigs brings out the Dorr messenger bag. Festivals, for 2 bodies plus 4 lenses/flash is the old Vanguard Uprise
My day/travel bag is a Lowepro - camera and 2 lenses in the bottom.

I've also got 2 I've been given that I never use!

All of them have room for a small laptop, but I rarely carry them.

Someone else who read my article made the very wise comment that there is no perfect bag
