Re: DSLR vs. iPhone

Very impressed with the Google Pixel 3a phone and edited in Snapseed.
Almost HDR Snapseed Perspective tool has worked well on the converging walls.

Re: DSLR vs. iPhone

Still very similar in quality.
But it does look like the Canon image comes out slightly on top.

Took 15 minutes to see the forum.

All I get is

The gateway did not receive a timely response from the upstream server or application....

Hi Pat.

Very difficult to guess which is which, as they are very similar in picture quality.

Timed out !

Is it just me ?

The last two mornings, I have had the "Timed out" message when loading DPNow and not been able to see the forum.
It corrects itself after a while. But annoying all the same.

Re: All Our Yesterdays

Two very good photos !

I remember Easty-uk from the old Tiscali photographic forum, Ron. I liked his style of photography.

I also think that's where I met you and Leevan ( Pops )

Do you...

Re: All Our Yesterdays

Yes, Ron. I liked Pol's comments on this photo.

I agree, that it does look like a couple of chums, out with cameras. But could also be seen as more sinister  Good image all the same.

I...

Re: All Our Yesterdays

Never seen this one before, Ron.
But I can see why you picked it.
Being a late comer to the forum, I didn't realise there was a photographic connection between Stephen and ( Tim ) Bearface.

A photo by Horacio, SundayII

I particularly like this image for it's strong shapes, strong lines and strong colours. It is bright and warm.
To me it is a photographic art form.
I admire...

Re: All Our Yesterdays

Peder Winge and Horacio are two names in this forum, who I used to follow.
I liked their photography. Stylish and artistic.

Good thread, Ron. I like your idea and hope others will join in.

Sorry, Caz. I have no idea why it is so quiet now.
It seems that members have either abandoned us. Or are busy doing other things.
I can only assume that Ian is very busy. Otherwise, I am sure he...
