I use a GoPro alternative (a Yi 4K+) and it's excellent as either a still or video camera - underwater as well. The main compromise is the fixed-focus lens, but nevertheless some excellent images can...

Gez, thats a brilliant animal portrait extracted from an original that looks very ordinary (no offence intended! :D ). You saw the opportunity and a judicious crop and tone adjustment made it...

It's amazing how much detail and colour that can be recovered in post-processing. This is a nice example of highlight recovery as well - I feel an article about this brewing :)

Early morning greeting from a grey heron!

It was such a delight to be greeted by this grey heron perched on a neighbour's roof at the bottom of our garden the other morning, before the sun had fully risen.


I consider these 'grab' shots!...
