Wouldn't mind a river side house as in your photos, just prior to your day 45 series.

Interesting how they used bottles to shore up the cuttings. The narrow gauge railway would be right up my street.

Superb ! This latest series of photos has something to please everyone, I would have thought.


I like the landscape of Waikiki. Nice to see the Japanese buildings. The little coastal bays look idyllic, and the surfers waves look enormous.

But for me. The star attraction has to be Pearl Harbour and the Arizona Memorial. Cant get enough of it. I could spend days and days, just looking at these historic machines.

Fantastic shots - I'm quite envious (in a nice way of course)


My neighbours are in Jaipur, India, at the moment. They are working with a company that does experience holidays and the wife is a fabric artist, so the theme is art on fabrics, and in Jaipur there is a long tradition in wooden block printing onto cloth. So that's what they are doing.


Later this year, the husband (an experienced photographer) will be travelling with the group, this time with photography as the theme, also in India, and he will be the resident expert

It took me back to the year 2000 when following a Rockies tour we had 6 days in Waikiki and we also went to the Cultural Centre. Just been looking at my pics and not much seems to have changed!

2009 we had an 11 day cruise around the Hawaian Islands, following another 6 days in Waikiki staying at the Sheraton on the beach - just a wonderful memory. So glad we did it and I have something to look back on.

Enjoy the rest of your trip. Your photos are so good.

Final pictures posted!
We don't get home till the 4th but today was the last 'holiday' day
The next 3 will be spent just travelling home...

Final day was spectacular and will stay with us for a long time
