    Re: DPNow security issue

The warning message went away but just came back in Chrome and Firefox. Internet Explorer did not display it.

A few years back I was the victim of someone hacking my email. I came up a tongue-in-cheek (albeit a bit draconian) solution to dealing with all forms of cyber criminals.

Some changes have been applied and I am no longer seeing the warnings - can anyone else concur?

Still getting warnings in Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. Only IE takes me to the site.

I'm still getting a warning on the front page at http://dpnow.com/

That's with Firefox 23.0.1 and this laptop has McAfee installed (if that's of any help.

(I get in by clicking on 'ignore this warning)

OK, I have made more changes although I haven't seen warnings since the first set of remedies I applied. Is it any better now?

It's still there for the home page.

I get rid of it by clicking on "this isn't an attack site" then it stays clear for all the other pages.

I think you might be able to get rid of it by clicking on the "is this your site" link so that Google (or whoever) does another scan to clear it.

                    Ian,

Is this page HERE any help?

I seem to remember we had a similar situation a few years ago - same sort of warning etc. I think it took them a week or two to completely get rid of the warning that time. If my memory serves me right it had been triggered by one of the adverts or an ad server.

I don't think it's an ad, Pol. We're looking at unrelated issues.

May be some more work to do. Even once fixed it may take a while for the warnings to be pulled by Google.

I'm on the other computer now and still getting the warnings - but still clicking on 'ignore' then clicking on 'this isn't an attack page'. That gets rid of the warnings for the current session anyway.

It's a bit of a nuisance but there y'go. FWIW - I don't feel threatened by anything on any of the DPN pages.

Fingers crossed it'll be sorted sooner rather than later.
