The big thing that I couldn't get my head round was the curser in relation to the pen, it behaves quite differently to a mouse, this is what you need to master, and now I finally understand how it works i think I am getting the hang of it.
The new models are more sophisticated than the ones I tried before, the software in particular.

Good on you Patrick - good luck with the experiment - you might even inspire me to revisit this!

Talking to club members they seem to be love or hate, that might be a little extreme but you get the picture (no pun intended)
My experience and I have had three over the years, I simply didn't get on with them, its the disconnection as Ian says. I am able to control the mouse better.
Tempted to try again sometime as the idea of them is logical.

I use the Wacom tablet all the time, with both LR and PS

I tend to use the Wacom mouse with LR and the pen more in PS

I rarely use the tablet buttons & sliders, preferring to use the KBD to select what I want. Don't think I've ever turned the pen upside down to access the eraser in PS. The pen button can be helpful for access to right click menus.

Wouldn't want to not have one.

    Lightroom and a Wacom! Advice

I'de like to here from anyone with this combo or anyone with experience of a wacom device.

I spend a lot of time in lightroom now and I'm always looking for software and gadgets to streamline my workflow and make my life easier, work smarter not harder right?

Ive only ever had demo's or little play's with these at trade show's etc

I would be looking at the Intuos Pro Medium for my needs.

Any advice would be very helpful.
    Ash.
