  • Today in the Sun

I went out today with the intentions of collecting some landscapes in the camera. Alas the skies where I travelled were a little grey, so changing tack the churchyard looked pretty as did the canal.
    I hope you like them.

    St Giles - Cheddington

    Olympus E-M1X + 12-40 lens - A. mode - F5 - ev-1. etc

    Swingbridge 125 - Pitstone

    Olympus E-M1X - 40-150 lens - F5.6 - ev-0.7 etc

A visitor to the church spotted my camera and asked me to take a picture.

    Olympus E-M1X - 12-40 lens - F.5 - ev-0.3 etc

Looks nice and warm there, Barr1e.

I like the Lady. Looks a colourful character, and a bit cheeky.

The weather is bright, albeit a little cooler today.

Nice pictures of the church, but it always gets me wondering why there are so many trees, bushes, etc., around churches. I cannot believe the architect would have wanted them blocking the view of his masterpiece.

          Thanks Graham.

I can imagine they were placed to soften the buildings, however it does make it tiresome to find the right angle to take the picture however many times you walk around the building.

Good point, Graham. It seems to be the case with most, if not all of the churches that I know of.
            Spoils a good view.
