    Found these growing wild on my walk round Sandwell Valley.

    E-PL5, 1/400 s, f/5.6, ISO 800, OLYMPUS M.40-150mm F4.0-5.6 R ,Processed in CO7

      Both beautifull, can't decide which I like best. Reminds me of a time several years ago when I was bent over my tripod composing a cornflower. A poshly-spoken lady strode up with the words, "Oh, I say, have you found something interesting? ....... oh, it's only a scabius, well never mind." And off she marched before I even had time to think of a reply.

            Other common names include Perennial Cornflower and Mountain Knapweed.

            Apparently they're a garden escape in North America but I don't recall seeing them in Canada.
