Not that I'm always on holiday - but a perk of my work is that I travel a lot.
I was in Amsterdam last week and off to Paris on Monday - all work-related.

Re: A Holiday Memory
Been rather busy - so sorry!
It's very hard to choose but here are two:
Taken almost 19 years ago, that's one of several small coral islands near my mother's home town of Hilongos, Leyte, in the Philippines.
This was the first time we'd been there with Elizabeth (4) and Lara (2). We'd had an amazing day, including seeing giant coconut land crabs, but this was a little sad as the weather was turning, with a storm in the background and we had to leave paradise.
I used a very early 2.5 megapixel Olympus Camedia C2500L - a brilliant camera in many ways.
Next, this was taken much more recently - Easter last year, during what I suspect could be the last long haul family holiday with the whole family. We spent three weeks in the Far East (including a return visit to the island in the first photo).
So why am I showing this shot? Well, it was quite a sight and it wasn't Paris, nor Blackpool (haha) - and actually, neither was it Las Vegas. Remember, we were in the Far East. So where were we?

Re: A Holiday Memory
Entry 1 - somewhat of a working holiday, but nevertheless a very memorable one.
