  • Southern Africa and Dubai

Just got home from a couple of extraordinary weeks on Safari followed up by a visit to Dubai. Here's just a sample. More to come. For the most part, these were shot with a Canon SL2. Many more to come.

A particularly amusing photo with the elephant, Pat

The hippo has a mean look in his eye.

        Great set.

I've never figured out how to embed Youtube videos on this forum so I'll just create a link. Here's a slideshow created with Quik, a free app from GoPro

Thanks for going to the effort of making the slide show, Pat.
Thoroughly enjoyed sharing your experience, The food looked very enticing !
I am sure it was a holiday that you will never forget. I am quite envious.
The GoPro appears to be a very handy little tool as well as being very good quality.

One of the highlights of the trip was the opportunity to Scuba dive with sharks. That's me on the left of the photo. I'm glad these monsters were well fed!

Your a braver man than me, Pat.

Must have been quite an experience.

Just testing out posting photos in the new forum. I followed Ian's instructions and it was fairly simple to add these random shots.

I see from the camera data these were taken with an Olympus C770 UZ - that's a 15 year old camera Great results though!

                  A very interesting set.
I particularly like the thrown sand, the heron and the bike shots

Thanks for the kind words. The sand tossing was done in burst mode with an iPhone X. I created a short GIF with it.
