  • How to delete a Photo in ones album

Can anyone explain the method of deleting or removing a photo from ones albums in the Photo Gallery. ?

We try to persuade people not to delete photos unless absolutely necessary - especially if you simply need more space.

But if the images was uploaded by mistake or there is a problem with the image look for the drop down menu in the top right of the window and click on Edit Photo (icon with a pen and a what looks like a box).

The delete photo option is in there.

Many Thanks Ian - I had put a photo in my albums which was in portrait format and was much too tall. I had replaced it with one smaller and wanted to delete the first one.

Thanks Ian - Photo now deleted successfully, no problem. I would say it is not obvious to find without some help. Is this deliberate to discourage people from deleting photos ad lib. ?

No, the people who developed Photopost, the gallery software we use, decided in their wisdom to move away from an easy to use icon bar under the pictures. Unfortunately there isn't an obvious alternative to Photopost for us
