  • Frame That Tune

The idea for this came from the recent salon challenge for Song Titles, curated by Kurt. It was a really enjoyable competition and when it finished Kurt remarked that he didn't want it to end. Well, it doesn't have to.......

It's given me an idea, based upon the old TV game show "Name That Tune," for a fun thread called, "Frame That Tune." I start by showing a picture and naming the artist. The first person to correctly guess the title of the song takes over, and so on. Let's see how long we can keep this going.

An easy one to start with, this song is by Diana Ross:-

A hit in the 1980`s if I recall "Upside Down"

Great choice, if it's the one I'm thinking of.......but I'll give a few others the chance to join in before I say what I think it is.

I'm pretty sure this is "Big Yellow Taxi," by Joni Mitchell.

Spot on, are we the only ones with a musical ear?

Haha, maybe I'll leave it a little longer before jumping in next time! Now that I know I got the right taxi I'll think up another.........

OK, here's another. I won't name the artist to start with, but may do later if a clue is needed. Good luck.

Is it the Ian Dury number "Hit me with your rhythm stick"?

No, but it could be. In fact, I wish I'd thought of that instead of what I've picked!
