This is what the text should look like (above).This is the Epson 950 draft mode. There is no banding and the density is good. But there is plenty of fraying around the edges.There is little improvement in density at the higher quality setting, but the edges are tidier. Print speed slows appreciably in this mode.The Canon S900 in better quality text mode has good definition but is a little lacking in density.The Canon S900’s draft mode is fast and the characters are reasonably well formed, but lacking in density.Our first preview of Epson’s new A4 flagship photo printer - click here |
