My first serious attempt at shooting star trails. I'm fairly happy with it, but I think the building and artificial light are distracting. Next time, I may try shooting in portrait format so that the pole star is included.

Absolutely fantastic picture.

(The colour of the sky almost matches your hair!)

Hehe, thanks Ekkl! Yes, I do have a bit of a 'thing' about purple, believe it or not.

A very impressive image Becky. I loved it the first time I saw it. I would love to take one like that.

Well done on your POTD.

Thanks Autumn. This was taken about 18 months ago. I'd like to try star trails again sometime, but it's a bit difficult now that I'm a single parent - I don't get the opportunity.
