The detail of the processor caught my eye when I was rebuilding my PC earlier this year. Image was taken against a gloss black back ground, which required me to take the photo at an angle to prevent problems from the cameras flash, also at this angle it became possible to show more detail in the contacts and micro chips on the processor.
I'd love to have a dedicated macro lens as the detail with the stock EFS 18-55 lens was quite impressive, and I would love to have seen how much more could have been achieved.
Image is slightly cropped and some artifacts clone brushed out of the black to tidy up.
