This is Trevs (aka ddigit) second picture on the Golden Gallery and also his second success in the same day. He has just won the Salon Competition with a photo from the same area of New Zealand
He says about this shot "Taken at Kaikoura last year just as the sun was setting. The rocks are quite spectacular here and there was the additional bonus of the balck-backed gulls."
The natural beauty of the region and the local birdlife, mixed with some great light, all help to make this a stunner.
