Ruberslaw Hill taken from the A6088; this started off with the idea of taking a simple photo of the hill to post on the Megalithic Portal website, as the hill, is the site of an Iron Age Fort and was also used by the Roman’s. It ended up with me trying to bring my limited photographic skills into play to hopefully produce an image that draws the viewer’s eye into the photo by means of the wooden fence.

I tried using the fence to lead the eye into the photo from the left, middle and right of the photo; due to various factors the one posted is the one that kind of works best. The image was shot in RAW. Photoshop adjustments consisted of resizing the image, transform it to a JPEG, edited using Auto Levels and Smart Sharpen.
