Focus on Imaging 2010 Birmingham NEC

I think Focus will be a particularly busy show this year. It starts next Sunday and runs until Wednesday (7-10th March) at the National Exhibtion Centre, Birmingham.

I usually visit the show on the opening day and produce a round up of what's interesting by the end of the day. I will be doing the same this year, but I'll also be at the show on Monday.

As my Twitter Tweets from PMA last week seemed to work well, I'll be doing the same again from Focus, so keep tabs on http://twitter.com/dpnowdotcom

Is anyone here planning to go to the show?

As Olympus is not there it has discouraged us from going. It will only add to my feelings that my birthday pressie still seems some way off.

I'll be at the show on Sunday for a few hours, but I have to leave at noon for an off-site event for the rest of the day.

I'm back all day on Monday, though.

I have preregistered but am a bit put off by stories about crowds and resulting limited access to stands. How bad is it?

if you get there early enough there is no problem. I have always been able to see and buy what I wanted to.

Sunday is the day I usually go and it can be busy at certain times, then it goes quiet. The week-days are supposed to be relatively relaxed affairs.

And looks like the visit to the NEC will probably be Tuesday now - back went last night so decided today wasn't a great idea.... and tomorrow I have to sit in and wait for new mobile to be delivered

The show is busy and there is plenty to see (besides the world debut of the Panasonic Lumic G2 and G10 - quite a coupe for Panasonic UK and Focus!

My laptop battery is about to give out, hope to post a gallery of show pix later tonight!
