Photographers rights rally on Saturday
I will almost certainly be covering the rally in Trafalgar Square on Saturday, which starts at noon. See:
http://www.yelp.co.uk/events/london-...ot-a-terrorist
I just hope the weather is OK!
Is anyone else here likely to go?

I'm going to attempt some live posts from tomorrow's rally - might even have a go at some images too!
Check out this thread from late morning tomorrow

Re: Photographers rights rally on Saturday
Bit of a stressful start as I left the house sans phone (and internet access!) so missed my preferred train, but now on a later but faster one so will only be delayed slightly. Bit grey today, but it's dry and not too cold!
More soon...

Re: Photographers rights rally on Saturday
Wow, there are easily 1,000 protesters here. Already bumped into several journos, including the editor of What Digital Camera and Amateur Photographer's news editor. And there was minor scuffle with some PCSOs. More on the way...

Re: Photographers rights rally on Saturday
An hour after the mass gathering started (apparently it shouldn't be referred to as a 'rally') there ar still hundreds here.
I have video interviewed several people and will publish these and a photo gallery of the event later today

If you look at the first one more closely - there are 179 Pentax visible but only 153 Canon.
Perhaps you didn't notice many of the Pentaxians because several were using their pancakes.
