The notes also mention that there are new routines for cameras with sensor bayer pattern filters with 'unequal' green response. I'm guessing this refers to some cameras that have two different shades of green in their bayer pattern make up (there are twice as many green pixels in a typical bayer pattern as red or blue pixels). Sony has experimented with emerald plus green and Kodak has forsaken half the green pixels for a clear or white filter in order to boost sensitivity in some sensors.
