As you may know, it's basically down to yours truly to pick images from the DPNow members' gallery to be featured in the DPNow Picture of the Day (POTD).
I'd now like to expand this so that if you are interested in nominating an image that you particularly like, you can!
All you need to do is place a comment in the comment and rating area on the page of the image in question, in the gallery. You must mention the term 'POTD' (so I can search using that keyword to find your nominations). Please explain why you think the image is worthy of being featured on POTD (I may well quote this in the POTD article).
Please note that we aim to feature as many photographers as possible, so the work of one photographer will only be featured once in a month, and only if he or she wasn't already featured in the previous month. Of course if a photographer has received several nominations for several images, they will stand a good chance of being featured in future months.
At the end of each month we will ask everyone to vote for their favourite POTD.
You do need to be a registered member of the forum to be able to post comments in the gallery.
