Does the camera indeed have AVCHD lite? It's listed as having only Motion JPEG on Panasonic text (that I have found, anyway). One other website I was reading said something like "We'll miss the AVCHD lite.." on the ZR1.

I'm sorry, this is indeed our mistake. The FZ38 has AVCHD Lite, but the ZX1 has MJPEG, though at the 720 HD resolution.
