Gallery changes

You may notice some differences to the DPNow gallery from today.

The main difference is that the icons that you used to access below the displayed photo for functions like Edit Photo, Add to Favourites, Report Photo, Show Exif data, etc., are now accessible from a drop down menu at the top right of the photo. See below:

Look out for the down-pointing arrow-head at the top right of the photo.

When viewing your own pictures, when you are logged in, the options that drop down look like this (above right).

When viewing other photos, the drop down option icons look like this (top right).

We didn't ask for these changes, but there they are. Sorry if this proves to be an inconvenience at first.

Ian

Unhappy Re: Gallery changes

The ratings search is also up the spout. Try selecting 'rating' for 'one week' and you'll find every pic that's been posted shows up as having been rated - even though they haven't.

I didn't test any more of the dropdown search menu options but I'd guess they may also have gone haywire.

Yes, there are a few inconsistencies that need to be ironed out...

I tried this and put them in decending order. The first two were rated and the rest were not. It seems the system cannot eliminate images with a zero rating, but instead puts them in time posted order

I have had a look at this and I find myself concuring with Stephen.

If the range does not include any rated images or not all are rated, then it looks like the next in date order images will be listed, regardless.
