The Night Before

Complementary to Pol's previous thread "The Morning After", here is the situation as started the night before!
Me and Pol were either in the same bar, or we like the same beer

George

I think Stella looked so much more attractive though in the evening light.

Yes Stephen, Stella looks more attractive in the evening light, just like women. They look nice with their make-up under the dim evening light and much different in the next morning when they wake up

George

George, how did you make that glass hover above the table?

Easy. Piece of cake. Lighting effects! (but you must know the barman to turn some spot lights for you)

Yes I did waken up eventually that morning. Thank you so much for dropping me off the other morning but please try to drop me on a warmer step next time.

Ian - they all 'levitate' when they're full of the joys of Stella.

After that comment if the lady in your life sees it you may be lucky to wake in one piece the next morning

She looks like the upright kind, can even levitate, that means ESP and why she is able to make you lightheaded.

Super lighting George, the shot is driving me crazy now Ian mentioned the floating glass!

Optical illusions are great, but this looks so convincing!

Hi Coupekid,

I'm glad you guys like the "hover Effect". It is easy to do too, but it can be done only with transparent glasses and liquids.
If you observe in the wall behind there are 2 spotlights facing down to the ground. The glass was placed also under one of these spotlights too.

The transparent glass and liquid (beer) let the light go through, alter slightly its color and also reflect the light on top of the wooden bar. What makes the glass look like it is hovering in the air is the light from the bottom part of the glass to the wooden part of the bar (that yellow intense lighting that looks like a sword).

Also observe that inside the glass and above the beer level there is also a yellowish ring around that comes also from the spotlight from the ceiling and of the mirroring of light through the transparent liguid.

Regards

George
