Photo critique Here is where you can display your images and seek the comment, advice and, maybe, constructive critique of your work. Only post your images here if you are happy for frank feedback. If in doubt, use the beginners board instead. Only post your comments here if you feel you can make a constructive and polite contribution in response to what is, for some, a leap of faith in exposing their work to your critical comment.

Re: to the moon

I think this a superb image JonMikal. Very strong simple lines. Great perspective and lighting. I find the monument has a slight optical illusion about it - I'm wanting to "follow the yellow brick road" (or maybe that should be "follow the urban concrete road")! Whatever, it works for me.

Thumbs up Re: to the moon

Jojo summed it up perfectly, I agree with everything she says.

It's a cracker.

Re: to the moon

An effective and well executed shot Jon, well done. I'm usually a little uneasy about photographs of sculptures and works of art, however in this instance the structure is enhanced by the position of the moon and with your input is showing exactly what I imagine it what designed to show.

A shot that's well executed & timed! The B&W enhances that as well!

Re: to the moon

The image provokes thought. Having read Jojo's comment, I have 'Every one's gone to the moon' going round my head. Your placement is perfect.
