I think I would have been more interested to see what he was photographing and what his inspiration was. He is obviously using the light on an interesting bit of old machinery and I'm sure there would have been something behind. I'm always interested to see how other photographers use a photo opportunity

mini maglite connected to the bag init?

thankfully he's not in the touchwood centre in solihull...they don't like cameras in there.
