Re: spyder2 calibration
Yes, the most difficult bit is getting the Spyder unit all lined up and, if it's an LCD screen where you can't use the suckers, flush with the screen.Originally posted by tarzieboy View Postjust calibrated my monitor withe the spyder 2, thought! looks difficult , but it went smooth & easy, well pleased at the result, recommend it,,, john
You may find the screen a bit less vibrant than before.

Re: spyder2 calibration
Yes they are well worth using. I was at a friends house recently and he was showing me some of his pics. We decided to print one and I showed himhow to do it from Photoshop, using Print with Preview and letting Photoshop determine colours and using the Epson print profile embedded in PS. The correct way to do it. He was very suprised when his print came out waaaay too dark.Originally posted by tarzieboy View Postjust calibrated my monitor withe the spyder 2, thought! looks difficult , but it went smooth & easy, well pleased at the result, recommend it,,, john
After simply using Adobe gamma to calibrate his monitor, the print was 100% better, after colour and brightness correcting the image
