Can I move My Documents to another partition

My new laptop is now I think (he says guardedly) running as a duel boot machine with XP on one partition Vista on another, a third partition being set aside for data.
How can I move My Documents folder to the partition so I can access any data from whichever OS I am using?
I know I can have a copy on this partition but I would prefer if possible that My Documents folder was by default on this Data partition.

Hi Patrick,

See this link for instructions on doing it for XP.

I assume Vista offers similar functionality but I don't have it installed.
