Bowens is a UK manufacturer, but I'm pretty sure there is a UK distributor - there is a discussion forum on their site; maybe you can contact someone Stateside there?

Just spoken to Bowens in the UK and they were able to help. The Monolight is available in the USA, in fact 70 countries. On their website there is a link to the distributors in the US. http://www.bowens.co.uk/usa.php

Also you could try emailing John Caney at jcaney at comcast.net and he should be able to help you.

I have just been looking at this product, and have to say, it does look excellent value for money at approx 429 pounds. (Warehouse Express)

But the cost of the portable power supply is a little steep!
