Photo critique Here is where you can display your images and seek the comment, advice and, maybe, constructive critique of your work. Only post your images here if you are happy for frank feedback. If in doubt, use the beginners board instead. Only post your comments here if you feel you can make a constructive and polite contribution in response to what is, for some, a leap of faith in exposing their work to your critical comment.

Wink Circular Reasoning

Sorry folks for another long exposure water shot, these must be getting a tad boring for you now, but when I find a new obsession it sticks with me for a while!

This was shot at Attenborough Nature Reserve in Nottingham, and this spot essencially has a tiny (when I say tiny, I mean a one foot drop) waterfall with an odd rock that goes from the bottom of the waterfall to the top, producing a strange circular flow of water around it. When captured with long exposure, this circular flow becomes more apparent.

Details:
Camera: Sony Cybershot DSC-P200
Focal Length: 24mm
Aperture: F/10
Shutter Speed: 3 seconds
ISO: 100
Curves and B&W Conversion were carried out in Photoshop.

Hey Matt - I don't find this boring at all. It's quite abstract, but I like such things. The effect does indeed look like mist going around the rock.
