Oly E-510: pics of the camera

Thanks Yoshi, I was told this camera will be on sale by the end of this month in Hong Kong, couldn't wait, as I am waiting for this camera to replace my lost E400.

I can happily reveal that I have a sample E=510 with me right now. It seems to work very well. I am getting some other IS cameras in to compare the stabilisation performance

They are the very persons who assemble E-510!

The second pic = blowing out all dusts on the clothes before going into a clean room, as Oly do not like them

E-510 is introduced in Japan on June 29th, which is a bit earlier than the time previously/unofficially implied. Not a new tidbit but I found the article I read at dc.watch, a Japanese site, was interesting. It introduces Oly’s two Chinese plants. Some assembling parts of E-510 is manufactured at one of them and assembled at the other.

These girls, average age 21 or so, are the people who assemble the camera as well as E-410. More pictures at their site though the language is Japanese. Here is the link to the article for the assembling plant.
