    Jodene meet an greet shoot

    Part of a meet and greet shoot yesterday with a new model. Justa basic shoot in the park to see how we all got on. Her father was in a local camera club at the same time as me a few years ago so that was a good catch up as well.
    Shot on the Fuji X-H1 with a Fuji 50-140mm. Flash was a Godox ad600 fired into an octabox fitted with a grid.

    Hi Peter. As per usual. I have looked through both mono and the colour set in your flickr photos.
    These are to your usual very high standard. Have to say on this occasion though. There are one or two that I couldn't make my mind up. Colour ? or Mono ?

    But lovely to see this set, and nice to meet your new model.

    Has Jodene, modelled before ? She looks very much at ease.

      Hi Garry.

      Yes she has done a little bit as her dad is also a photographer. I know him from years ago when we were both in the same camera club. When I put a shout out as I do he said she wanted to shoot with me but I thought she was younger then she is so put it off. Once I found out her true age (20) it was just a case of sorting out a shoot. Another reason she could be at ease is she was a skater and was winning at high levels so is not shy
      We have talked about another shoot and will try and do a retro skater style shoot. Yjanks as always for taking the time to have a look and comment

          Of course. Now I remember.

          But I wouldn't have recognised Jodene, as the settings were so different. My error.

          I like the relaxed, holding a cuppa shots.

            Yes she sent me a message after the shoot say how much she enjoyed doing it and how she felt more at ease doing this one then the standard shoot in the park. She was fully at ease during the whole shoot which is as it should be Yes you always need a break when shooting and if you can then make that part of the shoot even better
