Smile Digital Concert Hall.

I don't know if anyone else attends, or used to attend and enjoy classical concerts. I can't do any of that now, not sure I could even manage to sit still, quietly and comfortably through one movement let alone a full works concert.

Anyway, The Berlin Philharmonic has an excellent Digital Concert Hall online and there's a very nice youtube video of how it's all assembled, recorded and put together. Here's the video

I'd also recommend you look at the Digital Concert website, see the trailers and free concert clip (with Sir Simon Rattle) Great stuff - fantastic at full screen too!

Cool Re: Digital Concert Hall.

And a clip of the inimitable Arcadi Volodos performing the Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto No. 1 with his unique technique and passion.

Plus a trailer of the way it looks in the actual recording from Digital Concert Hall. I hope this works but I'll have a try anyway ...

Re: Digital Concert Hall.

Got 'An error occurred try again later' with the embedded video but have thoroughly enjoyed Tchaikovsky Concerto. Long time since I have heard that. Can't save it to favourites but have noted the url.
The trailer worked just fine.

D'ya mean the first one, the one behind the scenes showing how the digital recording of the performances are planned and put together?

If so it's well worth looking for it on Youtube because it's a superb example of digital recordings and filming.

If it's the Volodos YouTube video you can't get, try this link

Or type into the Youtube search window

Tchaikovsky: Piano Concerto No. 1 / Volodos · Järvi · Berliner Philharmoniker
