I'm going through my shots out of order so here is one from when we were on the way out of the park last night - loads more from earlier than that but I won't have time to go through these until tonight:
Have moved this to the new Paralympics thread - also the first image isn't showing at my end? Thanks for posting! Were you there on the Saturday? Looks like we missed an opportunity to meet up if that was the case!
Hi Carol, I was in row 59 on this occasion and most of my images are crops even after using a 600mm equivalent focal length. Shame that shots on the home straight (100m straight) and medal podium area were completely onscured by heat shimmer from the flame but there you go. It was still great being there.
Some of Ian's shots look like he was inside the track...?

Malc
Heat shimmer from the flame - is that what gave the distorted, frosted glass effect for the last two in your set? I thought it was some creative processing! The guy in the wheelchair, draped with the Union Flag whilst he posed for photographers, I thought was particularly effective.

I think Malc was further around from where we were, probably close to where the Paralympic flame cauldron was. We were two thirds of the way up on the lower tier of the stadium. My shots of the runners, for example, were taken from one side of the stsidium to the other (although across the shorter of the field's sides).
Have had a very hectic weekend but will be sorting through all my shots later today - I hope I will have some nice panoramas, for example. More dusk shots of the park, too, etc.
