Photographs from a phone

Dear All,

I am sure someone has said that the best camera in the world is the one you have with you. With that in mind here are some recent photographs taken with my mobile phone.

Best Regards

Josh

Re: Photographs from a phone

The sunflower pic made me remember somehow massed calisthenics. I did not read the title first and if the upper end had been trimmed, then it must take me time to find out what the subject is. Nice composition.
My I ask what phone model you used for these?

Re: Photographs from a phone

Those are great shots! The camera phones of today sure beat my first dedicated digital camera from a decade ago. I sometimes add effects like Instagram. These were taken with an iPhone 4

Thanks all

Great pictures Pat. Yoshi, the phone was an iPhone 4s. The flower pictures were a grab shot in a local florist while my other half bought half their stocK!

Best regards

Josh

Re: Photographs from a phone

I'm no smartphone snob and the new Nokia 808 PureView is remarkably good. See:

I love that saying: the best camera is the one you have with you - so true!

One thing I have tired of a bit is the use of Instagram and other smartphone app effects like ripped borders and frames. They look great to start with but so many people use them that the attraction quickly fades.
