Great action shot.
The background and the homemade ramp indicates that these guys have to practice wherever they can find the space.

You got the technical right - a fast shutter speed to grab the action and focus looks spot on. I wonder if cropping out the left third of the frame would work better? The stuff in the background is a bit distracting but the shadow would be lost. This shot would be great for a caprtion contest

Thanks to everyone for your very kind feedback. Yeah, these guys have to get really creative to find places to skate. The town we live in has a population of approx. 2000 on a good day. The building in the background is the backside of an old "Fords Ice Cream" plant. Thanks again to everyone.
