A Perfect Pair

A perfect pair off white dahlia's.

E-PL3, m40-150mm f/5.2 @ 1/500sec and Processed inLR4.

Excellent post processing. The range of tones and definition on those white petals is very impressive.

Are those the smaller type of border Dahlias grown from seed?

Thank you Pol, the wife did grow them from seed but they are quite large and stand about 3feet high.

I thought that was what they were. I once grew several in a patch and managed to save the tubers for the following year. They weren't so good the next year, as I recall, but nevertheless worth the effort.

Very nice.

dahlias have always been a favorite of mine along with lilies,I have some in the front garden ready to explode so i hope to get a nice picture of them for you all to view.
