E-PL3 & m45mm Do Chelsea Portraits

Not had a chance to try portraits with the 45mm f1.8 since I have had it.

That changed today when 6 year old Chelsea came to visit her Grandad.

All taken with the Pen E-PL3 and 45mm and all shot wide open at f1.8 in my back garden .

Lovely shots, Paul - I'm sure you must be a delighted Grand Dad! One thing that did catch my eye was a the unusual linear and slanted boket in the second shot (top left).

Thumbs up Re: E-PL3 & m45mm Do Chelsea Portraits

Beautiful photos of a very pretty girl. And doesn't she look like an experienced pro! You have her well trained, Grandad!

I noticed the slanted bokeh too. Is it because of glass in the background or maybe movement of a plant or grasses?

Thanks everyone for the kind comments, she loves posing for the camera and is a real sweety but then I am prejudiced.

Ian that is from the bamboo roof of my home made Kon Tiki hut to shelter from hot sun (when we get it) and my favourite place for portraits as the light in there is wonderful for it even in the midday sun.

Here you can see some of the roof that is causing it.
