Photo critique Here is where you can display your images and seek the comment, advice and, maybe, constructive critique of your work. Only post your images here if you are happy for frank feedback. If in doubt, use the beginners board instead. Only post your comments here if you feel you can make a constructive and polite contribution in response to what is, for some, a leap of faith in exposing their work to your critical comment.

Not what I was expecting, Mike, but still very nice.

I have to admit I'm quite envious.

Nice one, I take it you were pretty close. She is a big beastie.

That's the Orton Mere stop isn't it?

I was down there on the Sunday. Weather was a bit disappointing unfortunately.

Wow! 413 views, and 3 members managed to comment!

Wonder what the other 400 thought ?

I like it ? or I dont like it?

As a photo for steam lovers. This is very good.

It is well exposed. Showing good detail. The colours look natural, and the photo is nicely composed.

Cant fault this one!

Re: Tornado sweeps through Nene Valley

That's a lovely and timeless shot - apply mono and sepia treatment and you'd never know it wasn't taken in the 1940s

Re: Tornado sweeps through Nene Valley

Thank you for the comments. I did feel that a little less foreground would improve it, possibly more sky but that would have to be added in Photoshop.

Anyway, just for Ian. mono and split toning
