EPL 1 accessories

Anybody tell me if it possible to still use a wireless release on the Pen EPL 1 if you have the electronic viewfinder on?

Alas, I don't think there are any cabled or wireless release options for the E-PL1. For some reason Olympus didn't implement the USB wired release on the E-PL1 and the infra red wireless release was never implemented on Pens at all. Sorry!

Hmm, bummer. I kind of though that as I had trawled the manual and near enough reversed engineered the camera to find where it would fit :-)

Ah well, I guess the old knees will just have to bend down after all.

Another question Ian :-)

Looking at allowing my darling long suffering wife to buy me a new lens for my birthday. Looking at a zoom up to 300mm. My problem is I see two

One is a Zuiko 70-300 f4.0/5.6 and the other 75-300 with f4.8/6.7. As far as I can see, both are for Pens yet the one with the lower f number is £500 cheaper. Doesn't make sense to me :-)
