It's amazing what you can find in a kids playground if you really open your eyes. I had a bunch of kids asking me what I was doing and I told them I was looking for treasure ...

Hi everyone,
here is my entry for autumn colours, taken in the garden earlier today.

Thank you all for pulling the stops out and submitting such wonderful and interesting entries.

As usual it has been a difficult task and I struggled with the final result. It was only after I had seen the entry enlarged that I realised how many autumn colours were there.

In FIRST place I have chosen Kurt's England in Autumn

In SECOND place Gina's "In your face" Beech leaves and

THIRD is Olypaul with the single leaf on a black background.

Over to you Kurt, I look forward to seeing what you have in store for us.

Yes congratulations to Kurt for his beautiful photo of the Dorset country side a sure winner. Also I liked Gina's photo of the Colourful beech leaves and certainly deserved second place. Now I thought this photo of the single leave with the black background would win, it was a very nice composition and jumped out of the page. there was some very good photo's entered. I look forward to the next competition. Regards John.
