Blenheim Palace in less than ideal weather

A few taken back in May at Blenheim Palace in less than lovely weather.
I guess you have to make the best of it, at least with weather sealed gear it doesn't stop you shooting

Pity about the scaffold, I believe they are in the process of renovating the windows / glazing, due to be completed soon.

The water terraces

At the lake side

Thanks for looking

Like the composition of the last one. Looks like the weather thinned the crowds out a bit.

looks like you have nice colors despite the overcast day.

Really like the one by the lake side with the reeds.

Nice set, and a nice place to visit, Greytop

I particularly like the water terrace photo and the lake.

As Pops has already mentioned, the last is an interesting composition.

But the Rhododendron looks odd. Might just be how I am looking at it, but on the edge of the flower, at about 10 o'clock, there looks like a ghost type circle and squiggle. Did you clone anything there?

Thanks for your comments Garry

Regarding the flower, do you know I have never noticed that before, no cloning at all so all I can think is that it is part of the plant (just out of focus), you can see a number of them in that area... strange.

The weather has brought out the colour of the stone, which I think has helped in a small way to a cracking set of images.

Thanks Barr1e, yes I agree that damp or wet stone work can look more interesting with it's reflective glossy quality.
