Great shot Roger, but surely she knows better than to walk the dog wearing light coloured trousers. A mistake she will regret !

The way the dog is eyeing her up that could well be a treat she is unwrapping.
I see humour here which I like.

Or maybe the pooch want's to text his girldog to meet up later on the beach if he can get loose of that rechid long leash!

But for a French girl fashion trumps cleanliness all the time.
I sat down for a chat about dogs, (Well, that's my story when my wife asks why I did!), and after commenting on my English accent, (Mais, c'est charmant!), she said it was a new phone because her dog had chewed her old one, and was eyeing this one up too.

It's a lovely photo Roger, and the contrast and detail especially of the girl, is super - I see you used a Nikon D90 and the focal length was 105mm, - was that a Sigma 105mm Macro you used?

                Hi Ian,

No, it was the kit 18-105 lens, Which, by the way, is now my favourite lens. A very useful wide angle, and always excellent sharpness. I haven't put my 200mm on for months now!
