Dull and dismal

Teasels as sharp as the biting cold wind, shot whilst walking in a cold, wet and muddy Nature Reserve.

That teasel teazes the eyes.
Go on have another look and I bet your eyes keep jumping from one head to another with no regular pattern. :-)

Nope, it doesn't do that for me.

I guess it's because I'm more familiar with the overall scene and I'm looking beyond the centre of the teasels to the dim and distant building on the horizon. It's Dungeness Power Station and I was aware of it being in the distance when I grabbed the shot.

The spikes were blowing about a lot so I just aimed to try to include something of the buildings in the far distance. It's a flat, very bleak place - cold, remote and heavy going at times, especially on a raw and windy day. Good physiotherapy though, no assistance either (Gert chickened out and stayed in the camper).
