Frankfurt Airport Rail Station - wall to wall glass

Bizarrely, I went on a day trip to Frankfurt today for a meeting. I didn't even leave the airport complex as the meeting was in an annexe to the airport station. The above is a grab shot on the way back to the airport terminal going through an impressive section of the station taken with my Samsung Galaxy Note smartphone. I didn't have the Nokia 808 Pureview with me this time.

What did it do for temperature in there?

It was a balmy high 20s centigrade outside but not really any warmer inside. They obviously have a system to regulate the temperature somehow.

Thanks Kev - it's a remarkable place

We were on our way back to the terminal for our flight home and I just stopped and got my Galaxy Note out to snap a picture. Afterwards, of course, I realised that I should have moved to the left to line up with the centre of the structure. Oh well, next time...
