Green Hairstreak

Callophrys rubi my first sighting of this small butterfly.

Olympus OM D EM 1 mkll + 12-100 lens - A.mode - f4.5 - ev -07 etc

Never seen one. There have been the odd sighting of them near here.

But not by me.

Smashing little critter, isn't he/she Nicely photographed.

Like Garry I've not seen one although I do know we get them around here. I've seen plenty of Purple Hairstreaks though.

I have not had the pleasure of photographing the Purple one.

Another taken today in bright conditions - thank goodness for programs which help out some.
