Photo critique Here is where you can display your images and seek the comment, advice and, maybe, constructive critique of your work. Only post your images here if you are happy for frank feedback. If in doubt, use the beginners board instead. Only post your comments here if you feel you can make a constructive and polite contribution in response to what is, for some, a leap of faith in exposing their work to your critical comment.

Re: Ok im ready to go with my posh camera.

Hi Ian.

This is the video of me trying to upload another picture.

I hope it is my mistake so it can be easily rectified.

Please let me know when you have looked at it so i can delete it from my album.

Also if you need a password then i will PM you it.

Thanks in advance.

Kev

Looks to me like at the end you pressed "My Favourites" button as opposed to your pictures? As an aside I see the pic you are trying to upload has the name Stanton in it. I hope it is the one and only Pat Stanton, AKA God. :-)

Re: Ok im ready to go with my posh camera.

The only thing I can see in your video that may be causing a problem is that your file is .JPG ( in upper case) rather than .jpg

Try renaming a file to jpg in lower case then upload it, although I've uploaded one with JPG to test it and I can see it OK.

Geoff.

I dont think Ian or anybody else has a clue.

Its a bit frustrating that everybody else can have an album apart from me.

Re: Ok im ready to go with my posh camera.

I think it looks as though you created your own personal album and called it 'Wildlife' - is that so?

I'm not sure about this but I don't think the personally created albums work anymore.

The best way to do things is to upload only to *Member Galleries* - that's the safest and the best way to do the initial upload.

Once your pics are safely in you 'member galleries' you can elect to copy the image into one of the other DPN galleries (eg people, flora and fauna, wildlife or whatever).

Try again but upload ONLY to 'member galleries ... forget about separate 'albums' for the moment.

Hope that helps and I hope that works for you.

Pol
