Further work with the Olympus M60mm macro

While assisting with a wild flower survey on part of the MOD Estate I took the opportunity to take a few shots with the E-M5 and 60mm f2.8 macro. As it was very windy I used manual mode with Auto ISO to enable me to have a fast shutter speed and small aperture for DOF.

Here are a few from the couple of hundred I took.

Scarlet Pimpernel:

Small Field Grasshopper:

Very small Froghopper (3mm) on the Canon Lens barrel:

Dusky Sallow moth resting on Common Knapweed:

Soldier Beetle and Small Skipper on Ragwort:

Hoverflies:

Buff-tailed Bumble:

Wow - lovely series and difficult to pick a favourite but think the first of the hoverflies and the buff bumble just edge it. Super sharp, fabulous.
