Hi Garry -

Thanks.

Last time I smoked a cigar was the day I retired early(ish).
I promised Anne I would give up smoking the day I walked out of the gates.
Now smoke and stress free.

I can taste those now.

Many, many years ago. I was an auto electrician. I got called out to a Mr Whippy ice cream van. Its alternator had died.

I waited with the owner of the van, while someone bought out a replacement alternator. I was allowed to eat all the ice cream I wanted for free, as it was starting to go soft.

There's only so much ice cream a man can eat !

We don't see ice cream vans here anymore.

Fabulous shot, Barrie. Lovely composition, detail and wonderful light on the stone. I love it!

Considered these for the current salon competition but decided on two more local shots

Camels at sunset on the beach at Broome, WA

And this has to be my favorite beach of all

The camel shot I think is first class, just edging out your image from NZ, both fine images.
Pleased you posted them.

Re: My Image of the Day

My wife asked me to help in her garden today. I got bored and took this iPhone X shot of a neighbor's sunflower.

Never seen so many Sunflowers.
